Diversity

One of the many advantages of studying social work at SIUC is the availability of related programs. The University offers minors in Black American Studies, Women's Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Studies, and Aging studies that can complement your social work major. A foreign language, such as Spanish, could prove useful for work in particular geographical locations. If you are interested in helping troubled youth, you may select additional courses from Administration of Justice.
